Story of the Nifflym warlord who marries a troll for her promise of wealth and the help of her people against his peoples enemies. Aided in his endeavors by a warrior skald ("sacrificed" one eye to Alaunus, and so that eye is eerily bright blue and sees slightly too much, and so at times the skald seems mad) who becomes legendary( later forms one of the clans of High Nostirim, and a mysterious mystical jotun who uses the night like a knife. His marriage is instrumental in the victory, but the warlord remains loyal to his leige, who becomes king. Warlord is extraordinarily kind and altruistic. his decendents are the risi that make up a majority of the knights and couriers of Niflheim
